Mid-Century Diamond Wreath Brooch and Pendant, 13 Carats, 14K White Gold and Platinum
SKU: BRO.EB.1
A diamond bow curls into a wreath at its own center, dense rows of round brilliant-cut diamonds tracing every twist of ribbon, with a graduated fringe of larger stones dropping free below like tassel ends still catching movement. The construction reads as three ribbon widths crossing and doubling back on themselves, each one pavé-set so the metal all but disappears under the stones. Eighty-three diamonds in total, F-G color and VS1 clarity, weighing a substantial 13.05 carats combined; this is a piece built for real presence, not accent sparkle. It converts from brooch to pendant, arriving with its own 18-inch platinum open-link chain so it can be worn open at the collarbone as easily as pinned to a lapel. The dual function was typical of high-end 1950s design, when a single serious piece was expected to do more than one job. Excellent vintage condition, no visible wear, all stones secure, pin mechanism and chain both function smoothly. Stamped 14K.
