Our Story
Recoleta Estate Jewelry is a third-generation, family-owned jewelry house with roots that trace back to Buenos Aires, Argentina, where our family's story began in the late 1960s. Located in the distinguished neighborhood of La Recoleta, our original boutique became known for its carefully curated jewelry and decorative objects sourced from talented local artisans, establishing a reputation for quality, craftsmanship, and personalized service.
In the 1980s, our family brought this passion and expertise to Los Angeles, continuing our journey in one of the world's premier luxury markets. After working alongside the renowned French jeweler Fred Joaillier on Rodeo Drive, Oscar Golbert founded the family business in Beverly Hills in 1994, building a reputation based on integrity, expertise, and exceptional client service. In 2005, his son, Hernan Golbert, joined the company, continuing the family tradition while bringing a new generation of gemological knowledge and expertise. Today, Recoleta Estate Jewelry represents the evolution of that legacy, combining decades of experience with a passion for sourcing and offering exceptional antique, vintage, estate, and signed designer jewelry to collectors and clients around the world.
