Art Deco Platinum Diamond & Emerald Bracelet, 7ct, 173 Diamonds, 1920s
SKU: BO.BB.25
One hundred seventy-three diamonds cover this Art Deco bracelet in dense, continuous brilliance, mixing old European, transitional round, straight baguette, and marquise cuts across seven total carats — a deliberate variety of shapes that Deco jewelers used to keep pavé surfaces visually alive rather than flat. Triangular emerald accents punctuate the design at intervals, their sharp geometric cut and saturated green giving the eye a place to rest amid the diamonds' constant sparkle. The platinum framework beneath is barely visible, built to disappear under the stone-setting the way the finest Deco strap bracelets were; form serving brilliance rather than competing with it. At 11 millimeters wide and 7.5 inches long, the bracelet sits substantially on the wrist without tipping into bulk, and at 38 grams it carries real platinum weight beneath all that stonework. Condition is excellent for its age: the platinum retains a bright, well-kept finish, and all diamonds and emeralds are secure with no visible losses.
