14K White Gold Pearl Grape Cluster Pendant Necklace, Circa 1950s
SKU: PO.EB.2
Twenty-five cultured pearls in graduated sizes cluster together in a three-dimensional grape-bunch form, each pearl individually wired into the design so the cluster has real depth and movement rather than sitting flat. Small leaf-shaped gold elements frame the top of the cluster, with two diamonds set among them adding a small point of sparkle against the pearls' soft luster. The varying pearl sizes, from 6 to 8mm, are what give the piece its naturalistic grape-bunch silhouette; a construction that takes more individual handwork than a uniform strand or cluster of matched pearls. Suspended from its own 14K white gold multi-link chain, the pendant hangs with a gentle, organic sway. Stamped "14K." Excellent condition; no visible discoloration, wear, or damage to the pearls.
