Woven Braid Link Bracelet in 14K Rose Toned Yellow Gold, circa 1940s

A substantial Retro bracelet built from a double row of ribbed links plaited into a continuous woven braid, each link finished with fine raised ribbing that catches light along the full length of the band. The interlacing gives the surface real depth and movement, considerably more involved than the simple chain links typical of the period.

At 90 grams and 19 millimeters wide, the bracelet has genuine heft while the woven construction keeps it supple and comfortable, curving smoothly to the wrist. The warm rose toned yellow gold is characteristic of 1940s American goldwork. Measuring 7 inches long and secured by a concealed box clasp with figure-eight safety and safety chain.
