Mid-Century Platinum Diamond Cluster Ring with South Sea Pearl, 4.95ctw F-G VS1
SKU: RO.VH.4
A cluster of thirty round brilliant and baguette-cut diamonds banks around a single South Sea pearl, the faceted stones catching light from every angle while the pearl holds it in one soft, unbroken plane. Baguettes trace the curved platinum shank, cutting a run of clean geometric lines through the round-brilliant field. The oval pearl, 12mm at its widest, sits slightly proud of the diamonds rather than centered beneath a halo, so the piece reads as one asymmetric mass instead of a stone-plus-setting arrangement. The round brilliants weigh 4.95 ct total, graded F-G in color and VS1 in clarity; bright and eye-clean throughout. Cluster mountings built on a curved, off-axis shank were a mid-century signature, freeing the stone grouping from strict bilateral symmetry in a way Art Deco settings rarely allowed.
Excellent vintage condition: no visible wear, loose stones, or replaced parts.
