1960s Diamond Bow Brooch and Pendant, 5.25 Carats, 18K Gold with Detachable Chain
SKU: BRO.LL.2
A loose knot of twisted gold rope gathers at the center of this 1960s brooch, ribbons of rope-textured 18K gold looping and crossing as if caught mid-motion. Diamonds fill the knot's densest point in a bright pavé cluster, while a single pear-cut diamond swings free at one edge, catching light independently of the rest of the design. Below, a scatter of marquise-cut diamonds drops like falling petals, and one ribbon end unwinds into a long graduated line of diamonds trailing down the piece's full length; small stones tapering to larger ones as the ribbon curls outward. The mix of cuts is deliberate: pear and marquise stones read as movement against the more static brilliance of the round pavé, keeping the whole composition feeling loose rather than symmetrical. It converts from brooch to pendant on its own 14K yellow gold rope-link chain, 24 inches long. Excellent vintage condition, no visible wear, all stones secure, pin mechanism functions smoothly. Stamped 18K.
