18K Two-Tone Gold Diamond Link Dangle Earrings
SKU: EO.EB.15
Alternating bands of polished white gold and rounded yellow gold links stack into a graduated drop, each tier catching light at a different angle as the earring moves. The contrast reads architectural rather than ornate: white gold frames square, open links, while yellow gold fills the rounded bars connecting them. At the base, a pavé-set square of round brilliant diamonds anchors the design, forty stones set flush in a tight grid rather than scattered across the surface. Two-tone gold construction became a signature of 1980s fine jewelry, as workshops moved away from single-color gold toward mixed-metal link and bombé forms that read as bold but remained easy to wear day to day. Posts with omega backs keep the earring secure and close to the lobe, so the visual weight sits in the linkwork itself rather than in length or drop. The diamonds total approximately 1.20 ct., F color and VS-1 clarity, and serve as a bright finishing accent to the metalwork rather than the piece's primary focus. Stamped Jollaci, 750, this pair measures 40 mm long by 13.50 mm wide and weighs 27.54 grams in 18K white and yellow gold.
