18K Gold Diamond Sacred Heart Medallion Pendant / Necklace, Circa 1980s

The Sacred Heart of Jesus rises in high relief from the medallion's face, sculpted in polished 18K yellow gold so the figure catches light across its raised surface while the background stays flat and reflective behind it. A scalloped halo in 18K white gold frames the image, densely pavé-set with diamonds along each petal-shaped point, the white metal and diamond sparkle offsetting the warm gold at center. The reverse is engraved "Angelita," a personalization from a previous owner. The pendant hangs from a substantial 18K yellow gold open-link chain, its heavier links matched to the scale of the medallion rather than a finer, decorative gauge. Stamped 18K on both pendant and chain, with Italian hallmarks on the chain. Light surface wear is visible on the high-polish medallion face, consistent with age; no loose stones.
