Vintage 1960s Pear Cabochon Emerald and Diamond Ring, 9.50ct, 18K Yellow Gold

A 9.50-carat pear-shaped cabochon emerald anchors this ring, its smooth, domed surface built to showcase color and depth rather than faceted sparkle; the right choice for an emerald with this kind of rich, saturated tone. Thirty-three round brilliant diamonds fan out around it in a sculptural, ribbon-like arrangement, the gold looping and curling between clusters of stones rather than sitting as a flat halo.
