1960s Diamond Knot Earclips, 2.25 Carats, 18K Yellow Gold

Bands of high-polish 18K gold interweave into a rounded knot, each crossing point catching light differently as the surface curves. Pavé diamonds run in channels along the bands themselves, tracing the knot's structure rather than sitting apart from it, so the sparkle follows the same interwoven logic as the gold. At the center, where the bands gather, a raised faceted point of polished gold breaks up the diamond work with a moment of pure metal. The knot motif was a defining shape of 1960s jewelry design — sculptural, symmetrical, built for a bold clip-on silhouette.
