Fluted Diamond Cluster Ring, 18K Gold, Circa 1960s
SKU: RO.BU.1
Deep parallel flutes radiate outward across a rounded gold dome, each ridge polished to a bright shine that catches light in bands as the hand moves. At the center, ten round brilliant diamonds cluster together in a compact diamond-shaped arrangement, breaking the gold's rhythm with a concentrated burst of white sparkle. The fluted, high-polish treatment is a hallmark of 1960s goldwork, when jewelers favored bold ribbed surfaces that read as sculptural even from a distance. The ring's substantial, rounded silhouette gives it real presence on the hand, chunky and confident without feeling heavy. The diamonds total approximately 1.50 ct., G color and VS-2 clarity, set in 18K yellow gold measuring 33 millimeters across the top and sized 6.
