Vintage 14K Yellow Gold Pearl Dangle Earrings, Circa 1960s
SKU: EO.RA.2
A single round cultured pearl, 5–7mm and warm cream in tone, hangs inside an open teardrop frame on each earring, the frame worked in a twisted rope motif that catches light along its texture rather than as a flat surface. A small leaf-shaped cap tops each pearl, connecting it to the frame above, while the frame itself narrows to a decorative fan-shaped element near the ear post. The open center lets the pearl hang and move independently within the gold surround, giving the earrings a light, kinetic quality despite their vintage construction. This kind of rope-textured goldwork paired with a single suspended pearl is characteristic of 1960s dangle earring design. At 30mm long and 4 grams for the pair, these are light and easy to wear. Excellent condition, no visible wear.
