1960s Diamond Doorknocker Earrings, 4 Carats, 14K Yellow Gold

Molten-looking gold forms the surface of these doorknocker earrings, its high-relief, nugget-like texture giving the impression of raw metal rather than polished jewelry. Diamonds are scattered across that textured ground irregularly rather than in a formal pattern, catching light unpredictably as the surface catches it.
