Wide Retro Two-Tone Gold Brick Link Bracelet in 18K, circa 1940s

A bold Retro strap bracelet built from five rows of smoothly domed brick links, alternating in rose and yellow 18K gold across the full width of the band. The high-polish surfaces are unbroken by ornament and the impact comes entirely from scale, weight, and the play of two gold tones against one another.

At a commanding 35 millimeters wide and 100 grams, this is Retro design at its most confident. Each row articulates independently along the length while the strap holds rigid across its width, so the bracelet curves smoothly to the wrist without twisting or collapsing — the tank-track architecture the period took directly from the machine age.

The reverse is finished with the same care as the front and secured by a substantial concealed box clasp with double figure-eight safety catches and measures 7.5 inches in length.
