1970s Pink Tourmaline and Diamond Earrings, 40 Carats, 14K Gold
SKU: EO.BB.42
Two pear-shaped cabochons hold deep, saturated pink at their center, the domed cut letting light pool at the surface rather than scatter through facets; a cut choice that favors color over sparkle. A crescent of round brilliant diamonds traces the top curve of each pear, a bright accent set against the warm 14K gold that frames the rest of the stone in a simple polished bezel. At 40 carats combined, these are substantial stones built to be seen from across a room, in keeping with the scale-forward jewelry of the 1970s. Fitted with both omega clip backs and posts, they convert easily between pierced and non-pierced wear. Excellent vintage condition, no visible wear, stones secure, clip mechanisms function smoothly.
