Angel Skin Pink Coral and Diamond 18K Yellow Gold Earrings, Circa 1960s
SKU: EO.OK.6
A pair of substantial oval angel skin coral cabochons anchors these earrings, their pale, even pink tone catching light across a smooth, unbroken polished surface. Angel skin coral; prized for its soft, consistent color — has grown increasingly difficult to source as international harvesting has tightened, making pairs matched this closely in size and tone genuinely hard to find today. A halo of 84 round brilliant diamonds surrounds each coral cabochon, their fine F-G color and VS1 clarity giving the border a bright, clean sparkle that frames the coral without overwhelming its softer hue. The scale of the coral portions, at 20 x 15mm each, gives the earrings real visual weight and presence. This kind of bold, single-stone earring with a fine diamond surround was a defining look of 1960s colored-stone jewelry. Excellent condition; no visible chips, cracks, or damage to the coral.
