Lavender Jade, Lapis Lazuli & Diamond 14K Gold Cocktail Ring, 25ct, 1960s
SKU: RO.OA.22
A 25 carat oval cabochon lavender jade centers this bold 1960s cocktail ring, its soft purple tone and smooth, even translucence giving the stone a gentle glow rather than sharp brilliance; the quality jade collectors look for over hard sparkle. Sixteen pear-shaped lapis lazuli stones ring the jade in a vivid band of deep blue, themselves separated by sixteen single-cut diamonds, 0.35 carats total in G-H color and SI1 clarity, whose small flashes of white break up the color transition between purple and blue. The 14K yellow gold mount is worked in a rope motif, a textural detail typical of 1960s goldsmithing that adds visual weight around the stones without competing with their color. At 16 grams and sized for a 9, the ring wears with genuine presence. Condition is excellent: the gold retains a bright, well-kept finish, and the jade shows even color with no visible chips or surface damage.
