Vintage 1970s Diamond Pave Salamander Ring, 2.82ct, 18K White Gold

The salamander wraps the finger nose-to-tail, its body, legs, and curled tail entirely paved in round brilliant diamonds set so closely the gold beneath barely shows, from a distance it reads as solid light rather than individual stones.
