This vintage necklace features a hand-carved Victorian shell cameo (likely helmet shell) depicting a classical female profile in high relief, set in an ornate 14K yellow gold octagonal bezel with filigree detailing. The cameo pendant measures 3 x 3 inches and is suspended from a 16-inch strand of 62 cultured pearls, each approximately 6.5 mm in diameter, individually knotted and weighs 39 grams in total. Finished with a marquise-shaped 14K yellow gold filigree clasp set with one small pearl. A timeless and romantic piece blending antique and mid-century design.
